About the Founders
Dr. Mark Luetzelschwab is a 25-year veteran in education technology innovation and is President of Eduphoric, the company that incubated StudentDataPrivacy.com. Prior to Eduphoric, Mark served as SVP of Digital Solutions at The College Board and SVP of Product Development and Marketing at Agilix Labs. Dr. Luetzelschwab was VP of Product Development for American College of Education and Epic Learning Systems and also helped create Academic Partnerships. He co-founded and served as President of Edvance and cofounded and served as Vice President of Lenox Softworks. He holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from The University of Texas at Austin.
Eric Weiss is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, working closely with Dr. Luetzelschwab to create the SDPS business model and operational framework. Eric brings 20 years of leadership success in roles across education, non-profit and for profit app and service providers. Eric recently served with Agilix Labs as VP of Operations with a focus on establishing and managing strategic relationships. Before this operational role Eric served as the CIO of Project Lead the Way, a leading provider of STEM curriculum to students in middle school and high school programs across the Unites States. Previous to his work in the education sector Eric started and sold a software services company and worked in leadership positions with internet infrastructure & software development companies. Eric holds degrees in International Business and Japanese from California State University at Fullerton.
